  • My tomato shed is not as productive as it could be. Here are some problems I encounter this year: - water. We harvest rainwater from the roof of the shed into a rain barrel which then waters the garden bed with a no-pressure drip irrigation. The ground is not level and the tomatoes on the far end of the shed got way less water than the others. They grew less tall with less fruit AND got blossom end rot which is super annoying. It taught us about seasonal food, intuitive eating and experimental cooking. There is no rulebook. We go out, we harvest and then we figure out a way to make it delicious gardening and cooking go hand in hand! . . #gardening #gärtnern #allotment #gemüsegarten #growyourownfood #eigeneernte #healthyfood #instagardeners #gardenersofinstagram

  • This is our first year with our "tomato shed" - an improvised greenhouse made out of sturdy greenhouse tarp on a wooden frame. My husband built it for me as a birthday gift and I
